Carbon monoxide (CO) gas is an integral part of daily processes and operations at the RTFT - Opérations Québec site. Over the past year, reports have been made of both values exceeding what was permitted and symptoms being experienced. Furthermore, CO gas is now one of CNESST's ten-priority targets, highlighting its level of danger.

The objective is to reduce workers' exposure to CO gas, increase safety and vigilance, and prevent risks from becoming commonplace. We will be modifying the alarm thresholds on personal detectors for CO.
