Le risque électrique se propage sous la coupe de nombreuses variables. Par conséquent, la gravité des blessures susceptibles d’être infligées au travailleur variera, entre autres, selon l’intensité, la tension et la fréquence du courant, et selon la résistance électrique.

Le risque électrique est omniprésent au sein des milieux industriels. L’exposition à ce type de risque peut-être ordinaire (pour l’utilisateur lambda) ou volontaire dans le cas d’ouvriers ou d’électriciens professionnels ayant à intervenir sur des équipements ou des installations.

Or, assurez-vous d’écarter tout danger potentiel inhérent au risque électrique lors de l’exécution de travaux de nature électrique effectués par le personnel de votre entreprise ou par toute autre équipe de travail.

Soyez à l’abri du risque électrique, sécurisez adéquatement toutes les zones de travail contenant des appareils électriques où doivent circuler les membres du personnel et toutes les équipes de travail. Le risque électrique est trop souvent sous-estimé. La présence de ces types de risque se dissimule sous divers aspects dans les milieux de travail et dans l’environnement domestique.

La prévention des risques électriques en milieu de travail impose ainsi un respect rigide de l’ensemble des procédures prescrites afin de permettre aux employés et sous-traitants d’évoluer de façon sécuritaire au sein d’environnements potentiellement dangereux.

40% des accidents relatifs aux appareils de levage et à l’élingage concernent un décrochage de charge, dont les conséquences sont souvent dramatiques. Les opérateurs/élingueurs sont tenus de s’assurer de l’intégralité opérationnelle de leur équipement, de maîtriser les différentes manœuvres opérationnelles et d’appliquer les meilleures pratiques d’élingage lors du soulèvement de charges.
