Les risques attribuables aux opérations minières et déjà introduits dans les formations préalables SST060 et MIN122, prévalent aussi du côté du secteur Mine. À ces risques généraux s'ajoutent une série de risques spécifiques à l'environnement d'une fosse minière: équipements surdimensionnés, chemins en constante évolution, activités de dynamitage, etc. Cette formation représente la dernière étape du Programme de formation de conduite de véhicules légers de Minerai de fer Québec.
