The interactive modules provide best practices for emergency response, safe handling and storage. This course equips learners with the skills to identify hazards, understand exposure routes, respond effectively to incidents, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Respect, Inclusion and Diversity awareness training

Cette formation traite des risques liés à l’exposition à la silice cristalline en milieu de travail. Elle aborde les effets sur la santé, les obligations réglementaires, ainsi que les moyens de prévention, incluant les équipements de protection et les bonnes pratiques d’utilisation.

Cette formation sensibilise aux dangers du bruit en milieu de travail et à l'importance de la protection auditive. Les participants apprendront à choisir, ajuster, inspecter et entretenir leurs protecteurs auditifs en fonction des situations de travail. La formation couvre également les risques du bruit et les méthodes d’évaluation du niveau sonore, conformément à l’article 2.21.7.

Understand the definition of a confined space.
Identify the roles and responsibilities defined by the work permit,
Adopt safe practices when working in a confined space by following procedures and wearing equipment.
Finally, an important section of this training will focus on the hazards and risks associated with working in a confined space in a shipyard.

The Davie shipyard is an industrial site that may involve health and safety risks. Davie welcomes all its workers by making them aware of the essential information they need to master when on our site:
- Understand the hazards and risks on our site
- Learn to identify the right PPE
- Know the safety measures to be taken when moving around the site
- Follow work permits for all high-risk work (including understanding lead and asbestos risks)
- Encourage co-responsibility and vigilance on the part of everyone to ensure the safety of all on the site.

This online training course has been designed to provide you with the essential knowledge and skills required to contribute actively to a healthy and safe working environment. It will teach you how to ensure your own safety and that of your colleagues while adhering to Lassonde's standards and practices.
During the course, you will familiarize yourself with safety rules, personal protective equipment requirements and the best industrial practices, such as handwashing and waste management procedures. The course also covers high-risk work procedures, locking out and tagging out equipment, safety rules for working near forklifts, how to handle complaints of workplace violence and harassment, and the evacuation procedure to follow in an emergency.
