Chlorine is a chemical element widely used in the industrial sector. However, it can be very harmful to health, and even fatal in certain circumstances.
In this training course, you will learn about the risks of working with chlorine, its effects on the body, appropriate preventive measures and safe storage rules.

This training course is designed to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO), a silent killer, and provide effective strategies for protecting yourself. Topics covered include the sources and risks associated with CO exposure, the symptoms of CO poisoning, and the preventive measures and protective equipment needed to minimize risks.

The consequences of working while impaired are numerous. All employers must understand the impact on workplace safety, productivity and employee well-being, and be aware of the policies, procedures and legal obligations associated with this issue. All workers must have the necessary skills to recognize, prevent and manage situations involving employees with impaired faculties.
As part of this training, participants will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of impairment, intervene appropriately and promote a safe and respectful work culture.

Mental health is a vital part of overall wellbeing and can significantly affect how people feel, think, and perform at work. It’s estimated that around 15% of people in the workplace experience symptoms of a mental health condition.
This eLearning course builds awareness and understanding of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. It will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to recognise mental health issues, support colleagues appropriately, and signpost others to further support.

Over the past year, reports have been made of both values exceeding what was permitted and symptoms being experienced. Furthermore, CO gas is now one of CNESST's ten-priority targets, highlighting its level of danger.

The Davie shipyard is an industrial site that may involve health and safety risks. Davie welcomes all its workers by making them aware of the essential information they need to master when on our site:

This training course teaches students how to safely apply the lockout process according to Chantier Davie procedures to identify hazardous energy risks, lockout, unlockout, and restart equipment upon completion of work.

Naval Lockout
This training addresses the specifics of lockout in a naval context, where energy risks persist throughout construction or repair projects. Participants will learn how to integrate lockout while taking into account the unique realities on board ships.

This online training course aims to introduce you to the basics of firefighting and the effective use of a portable fire extinguisher in accordance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.

Contractor Induction

This online training course has been designed to provide you with the essential knowledge and skills required to contribute actively to a healthy and safe working environment. It will teach you how to ensure your own safety and that of your colleagues while adhering to Lassonde's standards and practices.
During the course, you will familiarize yourself with safety rules, personal protective equipment requirements and the best industrial practices, such as handwashing and waste management procedures. The course also covers high-risk work procedures, locking out and tagging out equipment, safety rules for working near forklifts, how to handle complaints of workplace violence and harassment, and the evacuation procedure to follow in an emergency.

The purpose of this training is to enable employees to develop the skills needed to move around with a light industrial vehicle safely within the plant. Participants will learn to follow essential safety guidelines, adopt safe behaviours near equipment and critical areas, and comply with the plant's traffic rules. The training emphasizes safe travelling through intersectoral aisles and priority zones to prevent incidents and promote a safe work environment.
