• Discuss Rio Tinto’s Environmental Standards.
• Familiarize trainees with possible environmental impacts from activities with respect to their area of operations.
• Review work procedures and controls.
• Ensure that activities are adhering to environmental laws and regulations to reduce impacts on the environment and the community.
