This training is customized to fit the various facilities located within the IOC project as well as facilities owned by IOC outside of the property. Various hazards, and emergency procedures are one of the focal points discussed during this training. In addition to the locations of the Emergency Assembly Points as it relates to the facilities and the importance of accountability at the EAP’s.

During the training, you will learn key knowledge in office ergonomics: ergonomic risks, musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomic principles to respect in the office, etc.

You will learn how to make adjustments to the workstation while respecting ergonomic principles, regardless of the work environment and equipment;

You will develop strategies to intervene effectively and positively with work colleagues by promoting accountability and autonomy.


Following the training, the participant will have in their possession several practical tools, information capsules and reference documents to support them in carrying out the interventions.

Modules 1 and 2 (e-learning) allow participants to develop their ergonomic eye in various work contexts. The training approach focuses on understanding the principles of ergonomics, in all kinds of situations, through varied examples that are not specific to the reality of their company. This strategy allows you to have a fresh perspective and reduce biases linked to past experiences.

The participant will be able to identify the ergonomic risks present at a workstation (module 1). He will be able to prioritize the positions on which to act according to the real level of risk and to develop solutions based on the determinants of risk (module 2).



As an option, module 3 is offered in person. It allows participants to consolidate the learning of modules 1 and 2 and develop their knowledge to design or correct a workstation, a tool or equipment based on recognized ergonomic benchmarks. This part of the training is personalized to the reality of your company, via case studies and examples taken from your environment.

The consequences of working while impaired are numerous. All employers must understand the impact on workplace safety, productivity and employee well-being, and be aware of the policies, procedures and legal obligations associated with this issue. Carbon monoxide (CO) gas is an integral part of daily processes and operations at the RTFT - Opérations Québec site. Over the past year, reports have been made of both values exceeding what was permitted and symptoms being experienced. Furthermore, CO gas is now one of CNESST's ten-priority targets, highlighting its level of danger.

Understand the definition of a confined space.
Identify the roles and responsibilities defined by the work permit,
Adopt safe practices when working in a confined space by following procedures and wearing equipment.

The Davie shipyard is an industrial site that may involve health and safety risks. Davie welcomes all its workers by making them aware of the essential information they need to master when on our site:
