PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
When health hazards associated with hazardous materials, tools or environments cannot be controlled by other means, workers must be equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE). This training covers clothing and accessories, their functions and proper use.

Any worker who should wear personal protective equipment
• dentify the different types of PPE
• Indicate the intended purpose for each PPE type
• Describe specific personal protective equipment required for certain work conditions and hazards
• Identify the required PPE for certain work situations, environments or specific tasks
• Differentiate between subclasses of a given type of personal protective equipment and define their limits of protection
