The consequences of working while impaired are numerous. All employers must understand the impact on workplace safety, productivity and employee well-being, and be aware of the policies, procedures and legal obligations associated with this issue. All workers must have the necessary skills to recognize, prevent and manage situations involving employees with impaired faculties.
As part of this training, participants will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of impairment, intervene appropriately and promote a safe and respectful work culture.
